History

Moviesoft was created in 1999 by François Farrugia.

From 1999 to 2002, MovieSoft was an exclusive Final Draft affiliate with François Farrugia representing Final Draft Inc. as its European Manager. In relation with FInal Draft Inc. teams, François developed and implemented the sales and marketing strategy in Europe while supervising the development of the French Version of Final Draft and its launch in the French speaking territories.

In 2002, François decided to no longer limit Moviesoft to the screenwriting environment and added consulting and training services for Scheduling & Budgeting software. Today, MovieSoft remains specialised in this segment of Film Production as it continually evolves with new collaborative applications such as Adobe Story.

With 15 years of experience in the Audio-visual industry, François Farrugia is recognised as one of the European experts in the pre-production software market covering the scriptwriting, scheduling, budgeting, and storyboarding phases. LinkedIn Profile
